Refraction
Determination of the refractive power of the eye or of the nature and extent to which rays of light are bent, measured in diopter (dptr)

RK, Radial Keratectomy
Radial incisions are placed in the peripheral surface of the cornea with a diamond blade. This decreases the tension in the corneal center and allows the cornea to flatten. Because of the side effects, this procedure is no longer commonly practiced.
